Snug fit with less water entry, enhancing warmth and performance. They allow greater flexibility in the back and shoulders for activities like paddling. The zipper placement reduces pressure on the spine, adding to overall comfort.

Backzip

Easy to put on and take off, requiring less flexibility. They offer greater comfort by keeping the chest area unrestricted and free of pressure points. Additional protection pads at shins & detachable leg loops to prevent water from rushing into the suit.

The select level is 20% warmer and dries 1.5 times faster. You can opt for one thickness neoprene thinner than you would with other wetsuits.

All ION wetsuits are developed by using mulitple sustainable materials and production techniques.

CO₂ compensated

We offset our CO2 emissions, caused by production and transport of our products, by supporting a hydropower carbon offset project in Kuruwita, Sri Lanka – supported by ClimatePartner. The entire process is transparent and traceable thanks to the ClimatePartner label and a certificate.

AQUA-ALPHA

Aqua-a™ is a solvent-free and completely water-based glue, which protects the health of workers at the factory. This also means less chemicals are released into the environment during production & use.

limestone neoprene

Japanese-sourced limestone replaces petrochemicals in our neoprene. The all-natural material is non-toxic & chemical-free.

OYSTERSHELL POWDER

We use biocalcium oxide powder from abandoned waste shells to partially replace limestone in the neoprene.

eco-carbon black

The main ingredient of our neoprene is pyrolized from scrab rubber tires, giving them a second life-time. This reduces energy consumption significantly and cuts CO2 emissions by 200g per wetsuit.

ECO STRETCH

(RECYCLED OUTSIDE LINING)

Dope-dying Yarn infuses dye pigments into molten plastic solution to produce coloured yarns without the dyeing process. This saves tremendous amounts of water while reducing energy consumption and water pollution.
